Anyone else GW2ing? I admit I'm having fun, I'm just about lv 30 (Ranger w/two Bear pets) and I have a couple of under level 8s. But I have had to skip a few nights because of reasons.

It's a shame that people have rushed so much, I already feel like I'm missing out on some things

I know what you mean. My online friends are fanatical about gaming; one's already level 80. So I'm lagging behind. But the cool thing about GW2 is that progression doesn't play as large a role as in other MMOs, you go to a lower-level zone and you keep all yer gear and skills, but your stats are lowered so there's still a challenge. You can't just get your level 80 friend to walk you through dungeons and stuff.
Dude, the first dungeon is really hard.
Anyway, now that my PC is dead I'm gonna be way way behind. Oh well. I'm naturally slower in MMOs because I like to explore and check out the non-leveling-related stuff.

Man, I wanna be NC because of their triple-barreled shotgun in PS1, but the pink technolords look like the most fun. They had that annoying as FUCK lightning gun too...
So many good memories of PS. Dropping our group on a base in the middle of nowhere, defending it for 29 minutes until finally one guy came and destroyed us all because the infantry combat was so terrible and unlike every other FPS.
Man. Sneaking around in my camo suit, waiting outside of doorways to rush through when enemies entered them. Super tense. Then some asshole, the ONE asshole who actually used that thermal vision shit comes by and lights me up.
Dat base music. Those 5-second long endlessly repeating ads in the dropship hangar for the Speed Racer movie.
Runnin around in an ANT, refueling bases and getting murdered by light planecopters.
The sniper rifle that takes like 30 seconds for the reticule to close after you move it one pixel over.
FLYING THE GALAXY FULL OF RANDOM PEOPLE OVER THE OCEAN AND KICKING THEM ALL OUT. HAHA.

Made a great run to division 1 but now I've been stuck in 3 for quite some time. Who's your favorite squad?

I just made it to League 1 with Belgium in 3 days (even with my shitty connection) from League 4

It did disconnected 4-5 times while in good winning positions though which sucks but I still managed it...

I get it at least once per season. I really want an Xbox I think

Also I came back from a 3-0 down to win 6-4 last night in the semi final of the cup so I'm fucking stoked that I get to try win that today

Damn dude! Sounds like you'd be a bit better than I. Currently in Div 2 after destroying a few challengers (I had three games to get six points, did it in two) with Napoli, their attacking prowess is almost unmatched but their midfield and defense could use some work. If you ever do get an Xbox, we will have to play for sure. I'm excited to be excited to be Liverpool again for FIFA13 with their new additions (Joe Allen and Nuri Sahin). Although controversy seems to follow him, Luis Suarez is my boy and even after the whole "hand of the devil" controversy (but the alleged racism is just not cool at all, hopefully he can just start to shut up and play).

If you've been following football for a while you'd know how many (decent) footballers are named Sahin. NONE, lol. And hardly anyone pronounces it right anyways (Shahin). Needless to say because we share the same name he instantly became my favourite player around 06/07 when he broke through the youth ranks as a new up and coming CM. I got so annoyed when he was linked with Arsenal. I know all the media stuff is b/s but that really pushed it over the line. He blatantly went on Turkish media several times to say he wanted first team football to progress himself and we could never offer that to him. He even joked and went as far as saying he'd rather join Tottenham because their jerseys are white/similar to Real so I'm glad he didn't come to Arsenal for his sake.

Napoli are awesome and very hard to stop. Cavani is one of my favourite players in the game and still gutted the 08/09 Palermo team got broken up (Cavani, Pastore, Kjaer playing brilliant, Sirigu, Miccoli, Nocerino and Bresciano).

I'm still in league 1 though I've been bouncing between 1 and 2. I finally managed to play FIFA13 yesterday after a lonnnnnnnnnng wait for the PS3 demo to come out. It's pretty good but feels a little robotic up front and the shooting "felt wrong" or "not as real" or whatever I like how FIFA12 flowed but the only thing I hated was when people pretty much play 9 in defense with Barcelona and Messi up front only for me to have 30 shots and them cross the ball in once and Messi beat my 6'6" defender to the header such a typical ending to my losing games with them sending abusive messages to my inbox

I've been using Arsenal with Diaby and Chamakh instead of Song and RVP ( ) and Turkey national team... as much as I absolutely despise all things Galatasaray Sabri at right-back is fricken killer in the game probably second only to Sergio Ramos IMO even though he has low'ish stats. /lifestory... aka waiting for Arsenal v Southampton to start

It's unfortunate I can rarely watch games being in the US it's just really hard to have most games super early and rarely having them even air here. Add to the fact that I can't afford cable so there's that too...

As far as FIFA13 goes, I didn't notice too much weirdness as far as shooting goes, I've been quite successful playing the computer. I love the flow of attacking much more, passing is much improved and long balls can be more effective now that players continue you their runs and take better angles. Defense on the other hand is still absolutely atrocious to the point of being downright unrealistic. When I work the ball into the box I have no trouble because the defenders are bad at denying the pass and usually sit by the post to try and block the shot rather pressure the man with the ball. I was really hoping they would make the defensive AI more flexible and aggressive but it's quite formulaic still.

But still Ultimate Team Seasons is going to be awesome
