OfficerBukowski 2-in-1 makes for a great volume tamer as well as a booster.

Cool setup! How's that Boss Flanger?

Whelp, it's been on my board longer than anything else you see and I lurv it. Lots of trippy Cure tonez.

I've been thinking I need to try a flanger. It's like the one type of pedal I've never tried because I hate that jet flying by sound. They seem to do a lot cooler things than that though. I dig the Cure :idk:

I'll be on the lookout for one of those Boss flangers

Boss flangers rule. So many more sounds than jet plane. I keep wanting to buy them to have as backups cos I like mine so much. They turn up every now and again in BST.

A good flanger is just a fucking amazing tool. I'll never get rid of my Tokai TFL-1.

The FP-777 is one of the coolest ever effects... ever.

Another good option is the Maxon flangers which regularly sell on the cheaps and also Arion SFL-1.

Did you try using the rotary drum preset as a drive for your bass? It adds JUST a bit of gain, but it sounds wonderful on the rusty box!
And that wobble adds so much dimension to the sound. Sounds great with my setup. I'll photograph it tomorrow. Damn I need a way to record this stuff!

Huh. Weird. Never tried that. I've been using this on guitar though. But I'll give it a shot in my idle time.

Classy, no? Also, this thing is fucking nuts, and fantastic. I can't say I'll ever get rid of it because I already use it in a song, and I can't figure out anything else that would make these sounds.

On the BF-2, Manual and Depth dimed, Rate to taste and Resonance all the way off will get you Nirvana-y chorus sounds.

FINALLY MADE A LEGIT BOARD. signal chain is GCB95 wah, SS/BS FUCK od, Fuzzhugger Algal Bloom, Subdecay Echobox, DOD DFX9, Boss TU3. BOSS MD2 is just sticking there because I haven't had a chance to fit it in... In the next few months I'll be adding a Diamond Compressor and a reverb of some sort.

It feels so naked without mod-jew-mah-lay-shun. :(

I already have my eye on a DigiTech Bass Chorus, either that or one of those cheap Lyon Choruses that were made by Washburn and were offered at Target. That was my first ever pedal, and I'm still sad I got rid of it. I also am after a Flanger that only triggers down. Gotta build my wah too!

GAH. MONEY PIT.
