I have the Planetoid and I just got done with a solid hour of jamming on it.

I'm not just saying this because I'm a Copilot fanboi, but this is a fucking awesome ring mod. Probably among the top 2 or 3 I've ever played with. It just has such a nice smooth clear sound. This is a huge improvement over the Android as far as sound quality, by miles. In fact, I just totally wrote a cool new riff while jamming with it.

My only niggle/complaint/suggestion is that I wish the frequency went lower, into the subsonic/tremolo range. Maybe via a flipswitch. One of my favorite ring mod sounds is when the carrier frequency is just below human hearing but too fast to sound like a trem, like somewhere in the 15-20 Hz range; it ends up sounding like a cool distortion/dirt effect.

Other than this, this is an absolutely fantastic ring mod, and the filter is very useful, especially on bass.

Thx for the suggestion, you can get the subsonic range plugging an exp pedal on the jack and lowering the freq, i didnt add the range toggle because of space issue and the filter section was kinda optimized for the current range.

Oh man, I'm running this thing into a Montreal Assembly C.A. Ring Mod and holy ssshhhhhhiiiiiiiittttt. Also, the light probe for the CA Ring Mod also works on the Planetoid. Which is nice since I don't have an expression pedal. Will make a video soon!

I just got a package with Planetoid! Can't wait to play with it tonight. Also, I have quite a variety of ringmods so I hope to make a decent shootout video with all of them.
