I would get in the middle of that, I would be the pivot man in an ILF Circle Jerk.

One: I want a tattoo, but I want something meaningful, and just haven't found it yet. Meh.
Two: Damn, I be jealous of that setup.
Three: NYC is a dirty city. I dunno how people manage to actually live here. But the food is incredible, so it'll do for this week.

Re: Dinosaurs and Hentai on PG 685 .(TB Mega Thread)
First World Problems...I know.
So, I am in the midst of a reality check. I am taking 16 hours this Fall, and at least 15 next Spring and Fall plus I am interning some where next summer. I have to increase my participation in at least one school organiziation. Plus, GF that should be Fiance soon, maintaing our house, Band, as well as an organization that I am a member of and do service work for (NA, no reason for me to hide it).
I have acquired several badass items that require a good amount of time spent with them to reap the rewards. Peavey Midi Base (actual Bass-Midi Controller with almost no latency) really probably the least amount of time required know, I have it around 80% dialed in to my playing style. I have an M-Audio Venom synth. I use the Midi Base to play it, there are some awesome patch making capabilities and computer editing for the Venom. I have done none of this because I am awaiting the purchase of a new, music only computer. These 2 are really just for my own use, solo electronica blooping, I also have NI Maschine to go along with these 2 as well as a midi studio merge to route midi signals between all of that gear. I know bands can fall apart and I want a project for if/when something happens with my band I am not saying that is immediately lurking, but this isn't my first rodeo).
I also got a Roland VB-99, FC300, and stand for the VB-99 for band use. The VB-99 is awesome, sounds great, super powerful. The problem is the learning curve. It isn't beyond me, it is a time issue. Basically, it is going to take me a bit to be able to harness all the I need form the unit to make it a center piece of what I do with the band. I also wonder if I am doing too much to the band sound with it.
So with the time crunch that is really apparent, I am wondering if I should get rid of some of this gear, buy a few pedals for the band use, at the least to hold me over until I learn the VB-99 more? Should I sell all of it except the venom, and buy a badass computer, NI guitar rig midi controller and software, I already have Ableton and a bunch of Soft synths, focus all my "Gear Learning Time" say 2 hours a week, on one "command" set-up and buy a few pedals for band use?
Or do nothing, which will force me to get the VB-99 learned quicker. Then I can move onto learning the Synth editing program and a lot more about Ableton. I plan on buying an okay computer in about a month.
