A weird 2x15 I bought from some guy off CL. It was a part of a church sound system installation. Massive, but really low wattage speakers. Super loud though.

Best part is, I got that 2x15, an identical one but it's way heavier and better speakers, and 4 2x12s all for $150. It took three cars to get that home.

Also,

because many of them do sound great, make a great platform for pedals, and are cheaper then other tube heads.

I run these two in stereo, with the Valve Junior handling clean tones and the Fender Greta set up for light overdrive. The Greta is also used as a preamp when recording guitar into GarageBand.

I put a master volume on it for night time use, a standby switch for absolutely no reason, the JP-1 mod which removes a jumper that I made footswitchable (it acts as a dirt and volume boost for leads!), a new Jenson 10" speaker, a new output transformer, and new tubes. It's kind of a Frankenstein. Bought the enclosure for it on Ebay, guy had some weird DIY tube head in it that he took out and just sold me the shell for next to nothing. It used to be just the head unit but I turned it into the combo!

Neat. I thought about going the modding route as well, but then I started GASing for the Greta and ended up getting it to act as my night-time headphone amp and substituting an overdrive pedal.
