And the released production version will be even more badass than these three-knobbers I bet (whenever that comes down.)

Though the 3k is soooo tasty. I keep it after my Xerograph even, giving synthy sweeps an extra OOMPH or three.

edit: ...I just realized how epic it'll be with all that 3band goodness O.O

So I just got my hands on the Mountain Range with black mountains on the front... it's incredible. Will compliment my Sparklefucker (custom Sparkle Motion into Fuck Overdrive) and TAFM! nicely. Can't wait to try stacking it with the rest of the SS/BS crew :!!!:

This thing... it's hard to get a bad sound out of it. I'll try to post sound clips this weekend.

Argh... Shameless self plug, my mountain range is up for grabs in B/S/T. Sounds good, it just can't replace my Sparklefucker.

I got #004 from Jero and am absolutely loving it. I have a technical question that has no bearing on how good it sounds, but my curiosity won't let me leave it unasked.

On the website, it says:
for the technically minded, the mountain range is a hybrid design utilizing mosfet, jfet and bjt transistors.

But looking inside, that doesn't seem to be the case... there's only 2 transistors, as far as I can see. Insight? Is the website description for a more refined/advanced version that is more likely to see production?

yeah that tech stuff on the site was for the original original design. i still haven't changed that shit even though many many things have changed... blah

So... for the first time ever, I decided to stack this mofo with the rest of my SS/BS family (SparkleFucker, and a Team Awesome Fuzz Machine). This thing opens up tone SO nicely on single coils... mine's staying. Dark and heavy, but a nice little boost. And it drives the Fuck OD WAY better than the Sparkle Motion IMO. Sound Clips to come this weekend (or, if I can manage it, sometime over the week).
