I haven't really been feeling a lot of their stuff in the last few years, but I'm going to try to be open minded and really be fair and objective with this one....

love all the added instrumentation.

I listened twice. To me this record kind of sucks. It's boring and uninspired and nothing about it appealed to me. All these additional instruments sound like they're trying to make a Grails record. The vocals are terrible. I went back and listened to God Is Good and it's better than I remember, but I don't think this record and I are going to bond.....
Isn't the drummer from Grails? I think the record has its ups and downs. Overall I think they did a good job with it, and I appreciate the fact they're not content with making the same record over and over again. The closing track is probably the highlight of the album.
Finally got to listen to it today. Kind of reminds me of Conference Of The Birds in terms of it's pace. Still not sure what to make of it to be honest. I always find their albums need a few listens before I know what to make of them.

I wish Al would actually sing again though, like he did on At Giza, the vocals have sounded kinda weak for me on most of the stuff since then. But not too weak, because I still fucking love Om.
