Hmmm... you're right. I just watched a PGS demo and it sounds great. It does add a few little extras without straying too far from the original idea. I like the simplicity of it, and prefer one with just the one knob. Good call!

the fact you can switch from Germanium to Silicon is great too. idk what they go for used, but its certainly less than an original, and probably more versatile

hmmm it can if you push the EQ towards the bass... like ian said earlier.
the sparkle motion is a little complicated, but not really much more than the others. just volume knobs, EQ and bias.
the horn does look mighty fine though!

Creepy Fingers Sugar Boost is insane! I love mine. I also recenlty obtained a Ghost Aston CC(Sabbath ref.) which is a 60's style t booster. It pretty much kicks ass!

BYOC Tri-Boost
It has choices for a germanium boost (Range master), a silicon boost (LPB-1), and a FET boost (AMZ mosfet clean).
Her: "Why do you need to build 'some more' amps?"
Me: "Because that will make me happy. That's important for you, right? For me to be happy?"
