If the DMB sounds pretty close to the DMM, then I'm friggin getting one, I kinda miss mine but don't miss the huge box and I'd love all those features.

I didn't get a super super long chance to compare and contrast the two, but the DMB is nice and dark, and you've not got the his or high end roll off when engaged which are my complaints with the DMM. I won't ever get rid of the DMM, it could never be exactly matched, but the DMB is soooo worth it. The FX loop, SQUARE WAVE ??? modulation, tap tempo.

The only thing setting it apart from the DMMT is the chips. I've read a lot of reviews saying the DMMT sounds digital because its so pristine. This thing is a gem

Is the modulation as tasty and warm as the old DMMs? That was definitely my favourite thing. Eh, they aren't so expensive I couldn't buy one to try it out and maybe lose a bit of money I guess, or wait for one to show up used more likely.

I didn't funk around with it a whole lot since I wanted to keep the delay pretty neutral for the FX loop, but when I play around with it next, I'll be definitely testing it out. I rememeber rolling into squarewave territory by accident before I started the demo, and it was just killer way pitch bent stuff. I want to definitely get some nice vibrato going though, I love that about the big box. It just sounds like 1000 angels pouring out of my amp

The DMB has some great features, but I wasn't a fan of the repeats. Real dark and noisy, but not in a way that sounded that great to me.
But you know, YMMV and such.

Just got to play around with it again a little bit. I can definitely see the darkness and the noise in the repeats, but I guess I'm kind of used to it after using this big box DMM for a while. I got the modulation really subtle but awesome sounding on the DMB. Its really cool

About 8:40 when you hit that Snazzy = Classy... Also you need a preamp or something, you could hit the front end harder... Great demos and can't wait for vol. 2 aka "It's The Delay Stupid, So Call Me Maybe"...
