This is somewhere in between here and the happiness thread, but do you know that point, where the bad news just pile up so high that you get past the feeling of down, apathy and borderline depression and actually start to feel energized by the opposition? That's what happened yesterday.

i totally dig it. there's an anecdote from the US Marines of a commander telling his troops "the enemy has us surrounded, and you know what that means? it means there's no way they can get away from us!"

His name was Chesty Puller, and that was said at one of the toughest battles in the Korean War, the Battle of Chosin Reservoir.

Chesty Puller. If that's not the name of a silent film porn star I don't know what would be. Legs Jefferson? :idk:

I need someone to buy my damn tube driver. I might list it on ebay, but I'm afraid to sell it to someone that won't love the damn thing as much as I do.

I want to raise funds for an elements and a mini fuck and some fuzzhugger (probably algal bloom, but I'm also interested in a velcroar or an arc flash) but nobody buys/trades my shit and random bills that I have not calculated in my expenses start showing up...

Nobody buying my shit is frustrating me too. Been trying to sell some of these things on and off actually caring about selling them for months, maybe my prices are too high? I thought they were pretty legit. :idk:
