The reverb on the ghost disaster has some pretty long trails. I may ditch it though. Such hard choicee. The new deville reverb looks really cool.

Hmmmm, I don't think the next Balckout Effectors is a delay.
I think it's a modulation with some delay function.

I think a blackout delay would be awesome, but have you seen the rainy day delay thread? Sheeeeet.

About the Blackout Delay, I'm not sure it's a Delay in another tread, Kyle announced it as a modulation pedal with some delay function.
I'm waiting for the Dr. Scientist delay (but that might not be ready this year). I'm also interested in the INFANEM disk echos (which should be ready this year).

Hey syl!
In the blackout thread, he said it would be modulation with delay functions earlier, but more recently hasnt he said its going to be a straight up delay?

buying a full-featured delay is something i've deliberately avoided, both because i can't afford one and because my brain already hurts. i'm not sure how much evaluation i can stand. i just want to spend too much money, get an old 2290, put it in my rack, and go home.

i was also thinking of maybe picking up an RV3 if I can find a good price. they're rising all the time, so I figured I'd pounce on one before it becomes unobtanium.

Yeah, INFANEM Disc Echoes should be pretty awesome as well... but i'm a big fan of Kyle's stuff, so i'm really excited for the Blackout shit to hit the fan :)

also: i'd really like to check out either Protheus or Gyroscope 2 someday :)

ALRIGHTY EVERYONE, got me the Subdecay Echobox today and it's amazing. NEXT UP. overdrive. what should I be looking at? Obviously the Fuck is gonna come up in conversation, but to be honest I think it could be a little too fuzzy for my current needs right now. maybe I'm wrong, i don't know. just help me out here so I don't get a standard run of the mill TS9.

I actually had the same concern about the Fuck being too fuzzy for my needs when I first heard demos, but it can achieve really awesome sounding low to medium gain overdrive as well as all out fuzzy mayhem. Super versatile pedal, if you can swing the price I'd definitely recommend it.
