AB-Synth vs. Fuzz Factory <--on HCFX

I have a feeling had the thread kept going without Vex interjecting, more people would have given some votes to zvex merely because they are familiar with his pedal and not as many people have or are familiar with the AB-synth. Zvex essentially lost the poll for himself. That said, the video and thread did induce some extra AB-synth gas.

Bobby was right though, fuck him.

he's RIGHT...i should have locked the thread earlier, and avoided all the drama. BUT......if i had did THAT, he would have called me out for locking the thread.

i tried to leave it open to allow him and others to settle down, but it just got worse and worse.

and then i finally DID close it, and he reported THAT last post, which initially said "you're right, i'm not a good mod, and i am locking this"

after his little diatribe for my locking of the thread, i went back to my last post and added the FUCK YOU.

my apologies to the forum members, and especially to Phil and Anderton. i can't believe that VEX would fuck me up with Anderton-- he's a hero of mine.

but i will NEVER FUCKING APOLOGIZE FOR TELLING VEX TO FUCK OFF, and will CONTINUE TO TELL HIM TO FUCK OFF for the rest of my life

and he has no idea how many people i know in upper management at GC, his biggest customer.......and i will do my best to get his products removed from any of the retail stores that i know. i'm going to tell them of my experiences with him. and i will turn them on to BETTER products at MUCH better prices.

he "thinks" he won..........and i'm sure he's lurking here. so believe me Zachy, i am gonna do my best to get your products OUT of any store i personally know.

and as soon as i find a zvex pedal cheap enough, i'm gonna do a youtube video if it being destroyed. i know where there's a box of metal sitting in a store used right now for pretty cheap, and that might be my victim. and i know the store owners well.....if i show them that thread they will probably HAND ME the pedal for free just to see me destroy it.

That thread was quite a read this weekend, geeez, hey. I just wanted to say to Tommy that the AB-Synth is an awesome sounding pedal with an awesome sounding name. I don't think it matters at all that there's a software synth out there with a similar name, that's no big whoop. We'd been making Reverberators for 2 years before I found out that there was an old Digitech pedal with the same name, let alone some completely unrelated product like a computer program.

And Bobby D, I think all the bs you suffered in that thread was completely uncalled for and unwarranted and just plain weird... and it's obvious that the folks on HCFX like having you as a moderator! You can moderate my forum anytime, buddy.

As much as I love Phil, he's forced to be sort of an observer and a janitor of sorts.
It's good for the community to have a voice in the form of one of it's more active members.

i was thinking of doing a demo video of the box of metal, which truly does sound worse than a BOSS Metal Zone.....then after doing a demo of how bad it sounds, THEN destroying it.

i am more than sure VEX will try to have youtube remove it, but as far as i know, there is NOTHING he can legally do to have the video pulled.

a vexter series FF will do just fine, tho...

i think the symbolic act of setting it on fire is probably the best.

it will probably end up being viral video at the finest. i'll certainly send it on to all the various online gear wire type of places.

no....will not do that....just want a vexter FF, and HATE to buy a new one, maybe i can get lucky and find a used vexter FF or just get that BOM that's at a local shop.

i don't want to "move another unit" for that fucker. and i hope the 900 he just shipped end up sitting as "deadstock"
