For a delay I suggest buying an Daphon E20DL (kick ass enclosure and cheap) and upgrading it, I could do this for you (true bypass it, improved fidelity with an OPA2134 chip, double delay times, tune in the delays to prevent over oscillation, improved power section to prevent wrong polarity burn out.) and you get a tasty analogue delay (very simmilar to a BOSS DM-2) an DOD would be pricey to clone...

The Foxx OD machine is a possibility except it's built into a wah enclosure, which in the U.K are hard to come by... probably pricey to clone (dunno what they go for now)

And the only phasers i'd be comfortable cloning is MXR 45's & 90's. A phaser with lots of parts in, it gets to the point where just buying it is probably cheaper as they have bulk suppliers, I do not.

1st- zvex is a fucktard and i hope he dies in a fiery car crash. or lives, but lives out the rest of his miserable life in terrible, terrible agony.

2nd- as much as i hate zvex, the OP needs to go fuck off and die even faster. at least zvex came up with his own overpriced garbage

yeah yeah zvex's originality is up for debate too, but i really don't care. its a fine line blah blah blah but the OP crosses that line, plain and simple.

Yeah, this happened to me(And about 10 other people) over the Box of Metal. He even deleted my account from the forums after it. I was a pretty active member and supporter at the forums. Very childish. I'd rather sell my Fuzz Factory but it was a gift from my Dad and he doesn't want me to sell it after all the time it took for him to find it. I hate that.

If the guy wants to sell stuff at that price point, then fine. But he shouldn't act like it's his divine right to do that without criticism. He has such a bullshit view of the concept of a "Free Market".

Yea every post I've read from Vex is some dumbass response about how dumb people (his customers) are, how he had a crazy orgy with the guy from zz top and how he vacations with J Mascis. Seriously the dude is full of shit. Some companies in the pedal industry really do fuck themselves over by posting shit and acting like complete morons. There is a certain amount of professionalism that every company needs to maintain. Fourms can do wonders for pedal makers but I think it should be business as usual and not time to piss your customers off.

I kinda doubt Vex is doing THAT well. Why does he have to always jump in to protect his products? If it was doing that well it shouldn't even be an issue. People should be able to form an opnion on his pedals without feeling intimidated about Vex verbally bullying them on the interweb. He needs to get off the Internet, pick up a soldring iron and start designing new pedz. The guy a loser from everything I've seen/ read.

These look like great alternatives to buying Vex's pedals...
all are 300+, and you have to shell out another 30 if you want to use a power supply, unless you buy a vexter... but there are no Lo-Fi loop junky vexters...
