Yup, I think they do kids' parties and maybe hospital visits and stuff like that. The people we rented from are mainly breeders and do the puppy-renting thing to make extra money before someone buys them.

Little by little, I started to feel better and better. But the wheezing persisted. Until tonight. Not long after I went on a nice walk through the neighborhood, the wheezing stopped. And I'm going on Day 4 as a non smoker!!! Unhindered breathing rules. Not being a slave to some 5+$ a pack bullshit that doesn't get you high rules. Fuck. Yes.
i always found that the best way to quit smoking cigarettes was to get sick and not be able to smoke for a few days or a week or more. once you have several days away from it, it's a lot less appealing, and if you're still recovering from being ill it emphasizes the "hey, this makes me SICK" aspect of smoking.

Earlier tonight I wasn't feeling super motivated to lead at band practice tomorrow, but after talking to some people who could get me into good-ass studios in Chicago (they were namedroppin' like muthafucka's), I'm feeling like being Task-Master von Nazi-Man and rerecording demo's again.

That's how I quit, I was sick as fuck and just didn't want a smoke for about three days. Even when I started feeling better I decided to keep going to see how long I could do without, I'm up to 8 months now.
