Sounds to me like you won. HOTH is really a much better album.

I don't see how you can compare amazing to amazing really. I'd be happy with either.

(although maybe pick HOTH by just a bit ;) )

EDIT: "Never have I ever" really sucks when you've done a bunch of weird shit in your lifetime. Not because you get pinned with it, but because you can't think of anything to say.

D'aawwwwww,

Curious, how do feel about sports? cars? pets? children? other people in general? Because frankly I'm not into listening to someone talk about any of these things. People just can't be asses when they talk about politics because that's not politics, that's ideology.

I'm with you there, man. Mainly I just have no mutual love in my life. It's killing me.

If you need someone to talk to send me a PM

On the bright side my new band is playing our first show tommorow so I'm pretty excited about that.

I'm afraid it might be one of those nights where I have to decide between drinking alone at the bar or at home.

I've been depressed for some time now and I'm really starting to hate myself. I bought a 1972 Fender Precision because I thought it would make me feel happy but it hasn't. So now I've got this expensive waste of space in my room and it's making me feel even worse about myself. I'm coming to the point where I want to say, "Fuck it" and purge all of my gear but that won't help my situation. Lately I've noticed that I've become very apathetic, angsty, and antisocial...my friends have also taken notice. I'm not sure what to do.

Any dietary changes? Eating a lot of fast food or anything? Buying your way to happiness rarely works. It generally just displaces it for a period of time. I used to drink my problems away but everytime I woke up... There they were, usually with the added regret of drinking. Again. Sometimes talking out out with people you trust, and who's advice you value, will help. There is always counseling. No better investment then an investment in yourself...

No chances in my diet, I try to eat fairly healthy. I've never liked talking about my problems or what's going on in my life with other people. I always end up bottling my emotions until the slightest thing causes me to break down, this is especially bad during the school year. I have everything going for me but I'm having trouble finding a purpose. But you're right, I need to start talking to people about this kind of stuff and help myself out.

Yeah, we're dudes. Talking about problems are never easy but bottling emotions is never healthy. Sounds like you're maybe feeling a little pressure too? I wouldn't worry about a the purpose thing man (I know... Easy for me to say :)). Seriously... It will come.

i am so right there with you. at this point my only purpose is to keep going until things aren't total shit any more. i know this will eventually happen, because i've been through these periods before, but i'm so fucking tired. rebuilding your life when your love abandons you after you lose your job gets old after four iterations. one more of these and i'm THROUGH.

coming up on 5000 posts and i'm kind of horrified. i never meant to hog so much bandwidth, and sometimes when people complain about how ILF has changed and isn't any fun any more i think it's because of me.

To everyone who's feeling down cuz life is gaining up on them, I recommend watching Alan's videos.
