Control Voltage and the like (sort of research)

Post by autopilot »

I've been playing lately with some CV stuff and i'm having an awesome time, so i've been thinking about releasing a couple of stuff with CV jacks and the like. But then i think that most people dont have CV controllers, so the potential is mostly unknown. Also most pedals dont have CV jacks (except moog, frostwave and a couple more).

Whats your take on CV? do you use it?

I have this crazy idea for a multi knob fuzz with some (PWM, Octaves, VCA, VCF, Wave Sync +CV control)

If I had pedals that had CV capabilities, it would be very cool, because I could integrate them into my moogerfooger setup.

Yes you should! I use a bunch of Metasonix stuff with cv input with a kenton pro 2 but would totally love a new controller. Also putting cv on your pedals would certainly get my attention.

I don't have anything that is CV capable, but given what I've seen from your pedals, and knowing that there is a HUGE market with folks that DO have CV instruments, particularly the modular crowd and those that rock Matrixsynth, I say go for it. In the right hands with the right push, those folks could flock to your creations. :thumb:
