Choralflange is the shit. That was my main chorus/flanger on my BIGazz board for several years.

I basically stopped holding my breath for the new Fulltone CFV-2 since it continues to be "almost ready" for what seems like 4 fucking years.

one of the most underrated flangers out there

if I had the money, i'd look into a Frostbite, but i'm DEFINITELY getting a SubDecay Starlight flanger for the random repeats. random flange is quite possibly my all time favorite effect.

i'm also in the flange-after-fuzz camp because it seems to put it on steroids. as does adding a chorus in the mix
,':{I> ... your move, Trebek.

Frostbite is incredibly awesome, but the size and power supply still kinda hold me back.

The Boss BF-2 is really the only flanger I've ever liked. Shrug.

Thank you, sylnau. Not quite what I meant. Should've been clearer. Doesn't sound too bad, but was hoping for flanged drums within a song context.

I've got a BF-2B that's pretty nice. Not the wildest of flangers, but a good basic sounding flange to it.

I'm not a fan of The Cure... but here an example (flanger on drums):

And best usage of flanger on guitar is from the band Chrome on Red Exposure.

Thanks, slynau, that's more like it.

I don't think I've listened to a new Cure album since Disintegration, but not being a fan of their early stuff.

Well, Helios Creed is a monster guitarist.

(Not flanger related, Cali Punk related:) Just curious, sylnau, do you like The Screamers?

I don't really need wide range for anything, honestly. For most of my pedals I have one setting that never changes.

And for the BF-2 what setting would that be, GardenoftheDead?

Manual- 2:00
Depth- 10:00
Rate- 12:00
Resonance- 9:00

I fiddle with it sometimes but this is my quintessential setting, I think.
