My 210 just doesn't have the oomph I want onstage. Can barely hear myself and the tone isn't quite what I want at higher levels. I'd like it to be more even throughout to say the least.
awesome signature with witty quotes from all you fuckers :)

That's it....and the idea of the fEARful is to be uncolored so that what's coming out of the amp sounds like what's coming out of the FoH. I view my rig as my own personal monitor and a half. Just a little bit more.

SOOOOOOOO....I've never owned a rack mount before and I bought a 6 spacer back when I had the Mesa Strategy and Ashly SC-40.....now I have the Mesa Bass 400+, a Furman.....and a fucking space. What the fuck do I put in that space? I have a tuner in the B3......I mean....I know I can put in some space covers or whatever...but is there anything cooler I should be looking into?

I don't like playing shows with teeny tiny amps, but a solo 4x10/2x15 is just peachy.
good deals are here.

When I first learned that the back wall of amps at big concerts were there for looks, I was a bit shocked and saddened at the same time. I LOVED that, and I had no idea that the PA was carrying the load. Now, if I see a small cab with big sound, due to the PA, I understand it, but I don't like it. With me and my ignorance, everything was right in the world. So now... I sill like to see a stack even if the majority of sound isn't coming from them.

Same.

I first realized this when seeing Megadeth for the first time when I was like 15.

Shit was THEEE LOUDEST goddamn thing I had ever heard at the time..... that rocked my world. Just seeing the backline made me Sooooooo happy walking up to the stage.

i believe in moving air, lots of air, under starry skies above. the bass rig i want will include at least two 15s, and i try to avoid guitar amps with only one speaker or speakers smaller than 12". i like my low notes to Merzbow people in their naughty bits.

Okay, So I did decide to get that Big Al (laugh away Excane, laugh away :p )

I did step off of my TimeLine, a TC Polytune, am in the midst of parting out a mostly done FrankenFender (Pretty much just have The Geddy Lee body routed out for a Mudbucker of some kind at the neck and a soapbar installed at the bridge left), I have my BEF Pro & wireless HotHand up on TB. Probably going to sell my custom Creepy Fingers OD-850 clone (PTP built, look up the Ibanez OD-850, it is sweet) and a SFT pedal so my lady is happy that I have brought some money in the house.

I will miss the TimeLine, I will reacquire one down the road.
BEF Pro is sweet, probably going to revisit it as well, although I will take another look at different Filters.

That's it, man. Consider it like a vacation for the Timeline until you start the solo stuff back up. Can't wait to see pics of the new bass.

I have a USPS rant to go on....but out of respect for DP's new bass, I'll wait until 2pm CST to begin it.

Well, you know that I approve! I ordered my Big Al the first day you could place orders and took delivery of one of the very first ones.

I'm really looking forward to the eventual SB2 version of the BEF...I like the pro, but I keep realizing that I don't need the all the advanced features. Can't complain though, I got hooked up with it ;)

Also, I believe I have figured out the theme of my next rehoused pedal (a fuzz, likely the Hoof Fuzz)

I think it may workout where I don't actually have to sell my BEF Pro, just the wireless HH. I don't have to use the HH, it is just one of my presets, I do use the backdoor features for LFO controlled Envelope and different wave shapes, I am glad that I am going to hold onto it.

I am thinking of Pinky and the Brain theme for some etching fun.

I'm sorry, those things still look like a BC Rich and a Jackson gangbanged a Jazzmaster... and the baby had a few chromosomes missing.

They are definately polarizing. I used to not like them or the Bongo shape at all. They have grown on me. Plus, Once I played a Big Al SSS... it suddenly looked a lot better.

I like the Big Al, at least as a concept, but they just don't exist here. I would like to try one some day if for no other reason than to see what a three-pup bass is like...I'm guessing that the tone options are rather nice.
