Hey demon666, how does the Megalith like to stack?

Not really sure. It could probably work if you play around with it.

The Megalith is so HUGE sounding, I don't think it would stack well with the More Heavy switch engaged. If it is in the "less heavy" mode then it may stack alright with an OD.

Yaah, it's not labelled correctly.

Should be "More Heavy" and "Squash Bowels"

GOD that thing is a fucking BEAST.

Stacking it is definitely not easy. I had some nice results with OD-ish stuff in front which sometimes took away some of the squishy-spongeyness. It's nice to sometimes be able to alter that to some more open sounding rip-yer-bowels-out instead of the usual mutilate-with-clubs.

i got to use the Heavy Mecha with a guitarist and it running through 2 12's instead of the normal 4 12's this weekend. still. BEASTLY. i'm so in love with that pedal. it DOES need a more top end fuzz to complement it, but situations where i'm just grabbing one fuzz? that's my go to BAYBAY.

The heavy is awesome (as all of his stuff is) but I wonder how close it is to the Megalith? or Maggy for that matter?

Gotta be able to cop very similar tonez I would think......

I GOT IT

Just order it and find out. Fuckin BRILLIANT.

I'm really finding that "Fuck it, just do it" is quickly becoming my mantra.

From sound samples of the Mecha and playing on my Megalith.....the Machine sounds kinda muffled....but not in a bad way...in kinda like a fuzzy dub step way. Where as the Megalith is more like a really really really heavy TAFM.....kinda...

Take your own advice and get the Decomposer too while you're at it!

Keep in mind that I mostly play GUITAR but my normal set up is:
Earthbound Centurion>Megalith>BAT Black Forest

90% of the time they are all on .I keep the Fuzz/Gain setting on all
of them fairly low and even with the "More Heavy" engaged they stack lovely.
I've also stacked the Megalith with the Earthbound Supercollider and
BAT Pharaoh and LSTR all with good results.

I've even stacked two Megaliths. Sadly, it just ended up sounding
like one Megalith. :idk:

I'll get the Behemoth this week and report back my findings but if you are
planning on stacking with the Bluebeard, I'd say put the Megalith after it and
you should be good to go.

Megalith (without "More Heavy" pushed) into ECT. Sounds super heavy and low.
