Also speaking of old music. I'm thinking of doing some Beatles covers. Yea, yea. I know, not very original, but I'm going to use some fuzz up in that bitch and do the vocals myself. Probably going to sucker a guitarist into doing it with me. My cousin is damn good guitarist but like I mentioned time and time again, he wants to play fucking Brad Pasley, Eli Young and Keith Urban. I mean...fuck man. I can't play shit I don't dig. I just can't. I've tried and tried and if I just detest the shit with every fiber of my being, then I just cannot do it. Country music is the gayest form of music out there. Yea I know gay is a bad word. I don't mean homo gay, I'm gay as is stupid and sucks.


Also I was going to sell that Eden head I bought from Delta and possibly the Bongo 5. WTF is wrong with me?????? I just went and played my setup again and it sound FUCKING AMAZING. I turned the gain WAY up on that Eden, hit the overdrive switch and instant OD like nobody's business. Who the fuck needs an OD when you have a tube amp? I'm going to flip the GK head instead. I have a dude that wants to buy it locally.

I get bored sometimes, hence all the gear flipping. Plus I'm having a third kid and feel like I'm going through a fucking mid life crisis right now. Not only that but my fuckin' dad has cancer. So life is constant ups and downs for me. Sucks but is great. Fuck.

Going to meander and get lost by myself downtown cuz I ain't got shit else to do on a Friday night. Also, I HEAR jwar on flippage. I brought just my 'Rang over to my old bandmate's place and rocked his fucking world. Some days I'm like "shit, I can flip all my extra shit, keep my ss/bs beauties, rang, whammy and xero and be good"....

But that feeling when you realize that that's all you have...

The Beatles and Pink Floyd are weird for me. I like the Beatles a lot but find them WAY overrated....but I really do like them. And then Pink Floyd has two of my favorite songs of all time....and I detest the rest of it.....kinda odd.

My flipping keeps happening because I can't settle on a fucking amp. And then everything else changes with the amp. And then Behndy or Excane puts out another fucking demo and it's all FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.

The Beatles have a handful of songs that I think are some of the best songs ever written. But they did churn out a lot of crap, too. The best example I can come up with is the fuckin Sgt Pepper album. I just don't get why it's so revered, 90% of that album is unlistenable crap. But then it ends with probably one of the 5 best songs EVER FUCKING WRITTEN. And I just don't get how they could turn the awesome on and off like that.

Pink Floyd had a 4 record run (Meddle, Dark Side, WYWH and Animals) that were absolutely amazing. The rest of their stuff I could mostly give or take (and yes, I'm including the Wall in that statement).

I've mostly stopped my flipping at this point. Both of my boards have reached a relative equilibrium. To the point where I think I've only bought 2 or 3 new pedals in the last 6 months. I'm just happy with what I have, and haven't gotten bored with it. Mostly because my new amp has made me so happy with my sound.

i'm.... i'm scared. we're doing this thing tomorrow night, my drummer's mom's is in Hawaii getting married, so he's house sitting the house he grew up in in the STICKS about halfway from my hood to LA, and me and him and my singer grrL and like 10 or so other music friends of his from out here and out there are doing a party/adult version of a kegger/hangout and jam loud as butts thing. it sounds fun, and i'm definitely going since he's my bud and i already committed to it.... but it's in.... NATURE.... and there's no cell reception and no wifi.....

i'm kinda a shutin and really only ever want to travel to go to other weird or interesting cities. urf.
