You're just mad because deep down you really know it's true.

(Only "real" slide players use 'em because "unreal" slide players aren't stupid enough to pay $200-$300 for an old piece of glass.)

i'm not willing to use glass slides any more, having had one too many take a dive off the top of the amp and shatter. i've been using the same chromed-brass one since the 1970s; how i've hung onto it i'll never know.

I prefer chromed brass, brass, ceramic or a pocket knife depending on what kinda sound I'm goin' for at the time.

I like the ceramic ones a lot, but I tend to drop 'em and they break. :( :grumpy: :hobbes:

i somehow managed to store my dobro bar with my Allen wrenches, so now that i sold the dobro i have a totally redundant Stevens bar. i guess i can try using it on the pedal steel; though hammer-ons and pull-offs aren't exactly common on that instrument it could make for some interesting effects.

Or you could buy a really cheap lap steel.

That was basically my response, but it was like trying to argue politics. No matter what you say you can't show them how much of an idiot they are and you just want to go break something over their head.

Terrible night for some reason. Heart palpitations and anxiety aggravated further by boredom. Fuck.

WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA? "Hey, let's take the flavor no one likes and make a whole fucking bag of it!" And the worst part is they're good jellybeans. Nice texture and all.

My joints hurt a lot recently. It might be the weather, I don't know.
