I love spending days with Kate. We hung around at my place for a while, then went across town to get lunch, then hung out at the mall for a few and had frozen yogurt.

I could spend every day for the rest of my life doing stuff like that with her, and I'd be a very happy man.

having seemingly begun to pull out of the cyclical depression that's been keeping me from doing anything for weeks, i invited my friend Jane to come over for dinner this weekend. this inherently requires me to clean up the house and stuff so things are presentable for her to come over, and i've been able to keep at it off and on for hours. i'm also making spaghetti sauce, and the house smells utterly delicious i feel downright functional. now to noodle around on the Tele for a bit with World's Dumbest on telly in the background while the sauce cooks down
