made a really stupid mistake, now i have to miss the first class for a workshop i signed up for. i was supposed to go to one starting early ish but it turns out i was enrolled for one that conflicts with another one of my classes. so i guess i'm skipping class to go to it and try to explain this kind of confusing scenario to some people i've never met before. dear god.

Tried eating good food to combat my illness (drink with tons of vitamin C, soup, etc.) but honestly it made me feel shittier. & I learned everyone at the party I was at on Friday has Bronchitis. My health center just gave me Tylenol and one migraine pill yesterday. If I do have it, hopefully I can get some antibiotics today and stop feeling like death.

slut... ;)

I've been more or less sick for going on a month now. This shit sucks. THE PLAGUE HATH RETURNED!

And my usual quiet spot on campus has soundcheck going on for some event in the next room which means they are blasting BTO at obnoxious levels. Nothing wrong with 'a little BTO, but I am just not in the mood to be takin' care of business right now. I'm feeling super naptastic.

EDIT: and now the wireless connection on campus is being a huge dick while I'm trying to watch something on Hulu for a class.

The fucking pizza hut online order system didn't tell me I'd need cash for a tip until after I placed the fucking order.
I have no cash, so I have to check all my pants for some fucking quarters so that I don't look like a massive turd for not having a tip.

Edit: I found $1.75. That's not terrible for a $16 order, right? :idk:
I always try to over tip, and I think this is a little more than 10%.

Edit 2: And I spilled purple on one of my favorite shirts. I'm going to have to do laundry on Friday now

i've gotten to the point where i can't make myself care about anything unless it's a life-or-death situation. i didn't even care enough today to take the money from my unemployment check and move it from the bank the state deposits it in to my bank. all i did was sleep, eat, smoke while i plonked around on the computer, loop for fifteen minutes and leave it on in the background for a half-hour, and take care of the cat. i only even talked to my friend Feather, who calls me every day, for ten minutes. i have to make myself go out and deal with things and look for jobs and stuff, but i just don't believe that anything i do is going to make a difference any more.

well, that in itself can be a factor that gives you true freedom. if you don't have anything to lose, you can truly go for everything you want.

I'm still waiting for an online store to reply to my emails asking where my "express" order is. Almost a month since it shipped and they stopped writing back to me a fortnight ago when I noticed the tracking number wasn't updating (as usually happens when a company hasn't actually given the package to USPS).

Hoping it's just an innocent fuckup and maybe their spam filter started eating my emails, but I'm considering raising a PayPal claim for my $450 back as it seems to be the only way I'll get their attention. They won't respond on twitter and I can't seem to call international on my phone..
