NO NO NO NO NO NO!!! Y'all wait to pull the trigger on this one. I have one and it's a drag. It's REEEEEEEEEEALLY loud and doesn't track for shit. You can play an E major chord, sing an e note, and end up with a minor third. The other singer in my band even tried it and he has better pitch than anything I've ever seen and he couldn't get it to track properly. The vocoder is cool, but really midrangy and boxy, not to mention loud as fuck. I should have bought the one TC electronic makes.
It's nice but I don't think realistically I'd use it that much more than my Microkorg's vocoder. Though the MK's vocoder never sounds right. Since when was stuff able to pick out chords though? I'd noticed that lately. Chords used to be impossible to decipher in the digital realm.
