Alright looper dudes, I've been doing a lot of playing with loops and stuff lately, and it feels like my loops get muddy kind of quickly. Is that just a limitation of the Flashback I'm using? Ideas?

Probably, something more dedicated could handle more layers of looping i would guess.

having no experience with more dedicated loopers i can't say for certain. but it seems to me that whenever you layer sound on sound in the same frequency range with any kind of distortion it starts to get muddy pretty fast due to frequency cancellation. this seems to be more the case with bass, perhaps due to the longer waveforms, and is something i've learned to use when i loop for blending purposes, in fact.
