Saw APTBS a few nights ago...
I'm downsizing my rig...
I don't need a ton of effects to sound like the end of the world...
I'm purging the stuff I rarely use...
and going from a PT PRO and PT2 to a PT2 and a smaller board for texture.
Whoa
Short skirts on hot women are the fucking bomb.

Yep we like the band around here just not the pedals... Minimal can be Maximal if it's the right stuff...

I tried to do that when I heard Stuart Braithwaite say that Mogwai only used fuzz and delay on Young Team. That's pretty much still all I use - just lots of it.

I AM A HACK. I NEED A FULL PT-PRO OF LOOT TO COVER MY INADEQUACIES.
....... actually, when i went from a PT-2 to a Pro it was more to have a bypass looper, some utility stuff, and some more room.
what kind of jank are you getting rid of Owlly McOwlton?

Love mogwai, and ive pretty much only stuck to those two effects, at least if u consider overdrive and reverb in addition to similar enough...

i might just keep my pt pro to add a bypass loop system and room between pedals

Re: Saw APTBS a few nights ago...
This band blew me away a few years back when I saw them live. One of the loudest shows I've ever seen in such a small venue, and there was maybe 30 people there. They threw their amps to the front of the stage at the end of the set and the crowd proceeded to dime them. About 30 minutes of white hot noise followed suit; all reverb and delay and fuzz.
Volume is probably the most valuable effect out there! That and toobz.

It all turned into a mush of white noise by the end of the show. It was almost soothing.

All the descriptions remind me of the time I saw Guitar Wolf.
I was smashed against the stage the whole time so that cranked up Marshall Plexi of Seiji's made me dizzy and nauseous after a while.
