I remember there being a toggle option for lows/mids boostage before for an extra $25. Will this be similar?

Similar. I announced the toggle for low/mids, but am not quite ready to offer them at this point...so it could turn into a knob.

Two things I forgot to post about yet!
First, my buddy Brian at Smallsound/Bigsound contributed on this design.

And you can get about any bass guitar outline in the middle. :) P-bass, Flying V, etc. Let me know and I'll sort it out.

So what the foot switch option does, is that not a toan that can be obtained by just messing with the knobs?

You can definitely get some similar low gain tones by messing with knobs (they have a lot of range)...the dual footswitch options allows you to switch fuzzes hands-free. Also, it doesn't just switch the fuzz and keep all the controls the same--you can "preset" the Bloom knob to what you want the full Algal Bloom to sound like, and kick it on.

Select Algal Bloom or a less overdriven fuzz with the left footswitch, kick it on with the right footswitch.

Two Laura Bennett enclosures for your Bass Blooms!
(The one on the left is here, the one on the right is a custom DFS one with a Tone knob you can PM me to get!)
