Best expression pedal for Dr Scientists The Elements pedal

Postby mjac28 » Thu Feb 23, 2012 4:37 am

Hi my Elements should be here this week going crazy waiting just found out about the expression jack does anyone know the best pedal (brand) to use for this pedal and I assume as you press the pedal the more effect kicks in? Does the pedal control the entire mix control or does it only go to what you have dialed in?

*disclaimer* I don't have one (yet) but this is what I've gathered from the manual and just generally gas'ing over the elements

The expression input overrides the mix knob when plugged in, and gives you full control over the "mix".

As for expression pedals, you'll want something in the 50k range like the:
Moog Ep2, Boss FV500L (low impedance version), Korg EXP-2
There are some that call me...morningstaru?

Thanks Jon, that's perfect!

I like the Moog EP-2, I use it lots and it works great with my pedals and it's good and sturdy and useable without being over hundred bucks.
