Re: Mountainking Electronics
I found this forum from looking into mountainking stuff and now i can't stop obsessing over both. the heavy box must come first but the behemoth 2 and the megalith both will hopefully be part of a fully realized existence for me soon enough... man, they're sick!!!!!!
my only regret is not finding this forum sooner... a place for fuzzlovers. AWESOME!
Now i'm gonna go sell a ton of rack gear and pedals to try and get me some mountainking.

I saw you were selling your Black Arts stuff, before you do you should try Megalith>Black Forest.

Thanks MEC - that's the one i think i want to hang onto the most out of the 3. They are all great, don't get me wrong - but none have the girth that the megalith swings.
I should prolly try switching the orders around a bit before i hastily sell off a BAT ped! right now it's LSTR-WAH-PHARAOH-BLACKFOREST-MEGALITH - i've been really liking the LSTR->WAH->MEGALITH- the sweeps thru the wah are unreal!

Yeah, I always liked the LSTR before the Megalith and and the Black Forest is amazing after it.
The Black Forest takes just a bit of the edge off and makes the Megalith sound even thicker.

Re: Mountainking Electronics
hurm. so, i like the Heavy Machine. a LOT. very cool. reminds me of a Depth Charge. just mean and low anger.
not really digging the LSD that much. to get it at a Not Raping My Low End bass friendly setting i don't love the toan. seems more geared towards guitar. sooooooo.... probably gonna list that bad boy.
lol. why they so BIG? looked inside, seems like they could be mounted in a case like 1/4 the size. maybe even a 1590b. odd.
wassat about?

Re: Mountainking Electronics
Yah, i noticed the case to gut ratio too - but, do you think they would sound as huge with a smaller case. Likely not!
