No, I bought it myself, I have all this stuff because I don't buy anything else like people my age.
No video games, no fucking headphones, no shoes, no coats.
They don't get that I dedicate all my money to gear.
the only thing my parents buy me are clothes (nothing expensive) and food.

I know that feel. I get it sometimes when I realize that I look damn good, but I'm not going to see my girlfriend.

Lol, I used to wonder how people my age can afford half stacks and a bunch if pedals and shit. Then, one day, I realized I am one of those people. Gear, weed, booze, and snax are all I spend money on when its not going to tuition. My parents are pretty affluent but grew up poor so they make me work for all of my shit.

:idk: I always look good.

But as I understand it, females get cute and drunk when they're looking for some man butter. That's why they invented skirts you know. :thumb:

shit can suck like that... sometimes credits stir things up in a bad way :(

just get some weird and easy shit done... that could make it interesting but not kill you, you know?

I'm at a business school, so an English major is weird in itself. I guess I'm just going to double major in marketing or something... /lifepath-y.

I think I got a Guitar for Xmas from my folks once,....when I was a 15. It was an old Fender Musicmaster.

But yeah,...now that I'm old all my discretionary income goes towards gear which means,....no fancy TV,....no PS3,...no hugely expensive computer, so yeah,...I guess nothing changed like I thought it would.

Mild Irritation,...I'm massively bored but too sick to go do anything. Normally would be rehearsing tonight,...but I can't be around a bunch of cheap beer and a room full of cigarette smoke. Nor do I have the energy to exert jamming out.

I just ate part of a bitter clementine :|

And I want to be able to spend money on gear, but I need to start saving. Hopefully my tax return will cover my savings needs (my parents are convinced that I can get around $3k USD, which would be fucking AWESOME).

Fender Zone > Peavey T-40.

I know the T-40's highly regarded basses but from a purely aesthetic standpoint I don't think they are better than Fender Anything. Just rip dat active setup out of the Zone and plop in some hot passive pups. It's not like they are hugely collectable or anything.

(or,....get a T-40 and have both?)

Dear allparts,

I ordered from you because you said you had jaguar trem plates IN STOCK. Later, I got an email saying that you did not have them in stock and I have to wait for three weeks on back order.

Frankensteining the Hondo that my dad gave me made me love it more.
I could clean up that sentence but fuck sentences.

The dude who was buying my cab asked for a refund because Paypal suddenly decided to hold the funds he sent me until February 9.
But it's kind of a relief because I was stressing out over shipping it anyway, plus it was totally a lowball offer that I stupidly accepted.
Now begins the true pain of trying to sell it on craigslist.

I lol'd

Some of the 70's Fenders were heavy,....they shed weight as the years moved on. Then there is the whole Booteek SuperJazz movement,....chambered bodied 5.5lb basses.

My Warwick weights 11+ pounds. That's why I rock a 4 inch wide strap.
