If they made a 5 string model in matte black, and without the annoying active electronics, i'd jump on it.

I'm with you on that one, I find passive basses to be simpler. and easier to get a good sound out of.

Of course, that being said, my nest bass is probably going to some wickedly complex active beast.

I really like instruments that scream RAWK. I have that Mockingbird bass, I have an Iceman guitar. I have had flying V's.
