. I really need to get an exp pedal because it can get so vocal, like a wah but better, so it'd be fun to do that. I do sometimes miss my EHX polyphase, which doesn't seem to get much love for some reason, but they're cool pedals; envelope phasing is nice, square wave, independently variable start+stop points is great. Has all the features but it doesn't really SOUND that good, probably why nobody loves them.

yeah, at least for me that's the reason - the idea is very nice, but it sounds kinda generic

I gotta add my usual +1 for Moog love. The 12-Stage Phaser is bangin'. 1000x moreso if you have other CV gear to rock it with. Clocking a Goatkeepr to the Phaser's LFO and then using the Goatkeeper's waveform to modulate the delay time or mix or feedback on a Moog Delay? That is some sweet stuff right there, for example.

I had mixed feelings about the moog phaser for bass. Overall though, it's the bee's knees.

but my question that was very conveniently ignored stays - can Whetstone do the "Colour-switch-up-superphased-deep-space-exploring sound" that is mastered by this small stone?

Never tried a whetstone DarkAxel, so I can't say. It's based off the small stone, so I'd hope so.

You guys with the sovtek stones mind posting guts? I'm curious, as some are tall font, some bubble, etc.
