I love it, but i think i wanna swap the pickups out of it. the stock pickups are a little too hot for my taste.

all right, dudes, here are my new Jazzmasters!

shitty photo, but yeah.

Olympic white is a parts guitar with Mastery, Lollars, Gotoh trem and tuners, pine body, All-Parts FAT neck, 9.5 fretboard radius,
RS Guitarworks Super Pot for volume, all nice pushback wire...the works. SUPER resonant.

the Ocean Turquoise is a 90's AVRI that needs some TLC, new strings, a set-up, etc.
I already ordered a Mastery bridge for it, planning on a red tort guard, white knobs, Novak pickups (Gold Foil!), new trem bar is ordered, all that.

Now bring on the '65!
Maybe partying will help.

Here's an outdoor shot of my new strat where the color is a lot closer to what it actually is:

I finally got to play it this afternoon. Very nice. There are a few minor issues (binding at the string tee when using the trem, wax on the body, for example), but nothing big. I have to change the strings, though. 09-42s are like playing a guitar strung with rubber bands.
