Catalinbread now has some pedal kits, too

Just two pedals that I know nothing about. Intro pricing $60 plus shipping. Supposed to go up $30 when the intro ends.

Pricey. A vero version would set you back a lot less.

It's on par with GGG at the intro price, and byoc at the regular one
Plus the pcb looks a lot nicer.

The intro doesn't seem out of line. Compare the Snowflake kit or the Dwarfcraft kits. Granted, I'm more interested in those kits than the Catalinbread stuff, but I certainly don't see a reason to take offense.

Honestly, I love the name they came up for their kits.

The international shipping is the real killer for me or i'd consider one.

The introductory prices are good, the regular prices would be good for non-diyers but many diyers could source for cheaper.

Although if you have a conscience about such things it would be a guilt free way to DIY their products

This.

And also, I feel like the intro price is on par. Anything else that they add is clearly more profit on however much they're already making on the kits

Some reference to someone at the company? With all the crooks, weirdos, and assholes in pedal boutiquedom, I wasn't aware of the CBread people warranting notice.

Not at all! I know little to nothing about C-Bread. Truth is, I was trolling Jero because I told him I would, as he has an affinity for mystical Russians with big beards :surprise: :excellent: (really it's for a super secret project that he's involved in) :) Sorry to derail, carry on!

I had two hyperpaks a one knob and two knob version I liked them both and I plan to build one.
Has anyone heard a V8?
And is there some mystery to the v8 having several XX values on the schematics page?
