lulz. that's funny. Wah Enclosures usually mean no-go for me. sounds mad interesting though. SCORE!

also, i just want to thank Erukus and AdrenalineGeneralLee and whoever else made this happen. i had a blast stalking Donavondals, the loot i got makes me tear up in joy every time i look at it (or fondly remember the parts i ate'd'd'd), and it was silly awesome to see all the craziness everybody got.

thanks mengers! No Homo (okay.... maybe a LITTLE Homo) love for ch'all!

Lookie at this sweet haul! Jesse (blindtofaith), you are one heck of a Secret Santa! *big hugs and smiles*

Jesse's wife even sent a scarf for my wife! How cool is that!
ILF Secret Santa 2011 Jesse Rules.JPG

There was also some awesome licorice but I ate it awhile ago.. that black licorice was probably the best I've had, I love that stuff. This is pretty cool.. the pedal is a RAT.. made by BAT! I really like it too, my first RAT pedal and it sounds great. Thanks for an awesome haul, Jesse, you really spoiled me with stuff I love!

Allen, I hope you enjoy the custom pedal! I just thought it would be a fun gain station, covering a lot of gain range from boost to distortion and low gain fuzz to gated high gain fuzz. Their order is switchable plus you can run them in parallel using the clean blends on each.

Really cool SS again this year, so many sweet hauls and sweet pedals.. way to go everybody! And thanks again, Jesse!

EDIT: forgot to mention a band name

:ilf: I love Haki, he send me a letter with really kind words, showing he too had paid attention and given this a thought. Clearly.

I got these INSANELY lovely honey immersed waffles I love with both coffee and tea, I have had the last time like... what, ten years ago, fifteen? He had also included Kinder eggs, one for each of my kids - meant a lot to me, and the kids loved them, of course, and the gesture was applauded by Mrs Bassus, too, very cool.

Two albums of music I've played all evening after getting back home. Crotchthrottle - everybody here knows it's Jrmy the great, right? The album is, too. I always ment to buy it   but Haki beat me to it. And an EP from his bass instructor that appeares to be somewhat a fan of my old band. Hey - nice played! And it's totally solid technical thrash/death metal act, too, two out of five songs made it to repeat play mode.

and I got this, this Xmass bad baby

You would be correct, kind sir, after I got over the initial trauma of finding an Iron box, got one of those for Christmas a decade ago and it did nothing to improve the relationship with my biological parental units.
The pedal is called the Gristleizer and that's a pretty accurate name for what it does, which is make your shit sound awesome. Some seriously fucking good choppy, ring moddy, distortion, blown amp sounds in it. I think this just became my desert-island-you-can-only-bring-one-pedal pedal. Now I feel even more compelled to get an audio interface so I can record some clips of what it does.
Aside from the Mountain Dew that was consumed before christmas, there was also an EQD t-shirt and Sungod LP which is awesome stoner psych.
In short: Best Gift Ever.

The gristleizer was a fun build. I hope you notice why I painted it the colors I did :thumb:

It had a huge slap of chocolate called a chocolate cheese steak, a chocolate rat and some delicious red licorice (the chocolate is incredible as well, I'm going to have to pace myself lest it be gone too soon). There's also welcome to the monkey house by Kurt Vonnegut and a muff clone with a built-in klon buffer :!!!: This has been the best christmas ever!!!! Thank you so much proroby!!!

I'm glad you enjoy it! The Reading Terminal Market is one of my favorite places on the planet ^__^

I don't completely know what the looper is doing but that is part of the fun. I'm having fun running the synth through it and getting it to freak out. Thanks a bunch, I love it! I will post the pics I took up soon.

I am glad that I found a few little hints that pointed me towards teh Rat!!! Hahahaha. My wife figured Tanya needed something to keep her wrm on all of those cold nights in the dungeon making sweet pedals.

It came! ...and so did I...

Mystery fuzz, 3D Dot and beer are the most personalized gifts I got this christmas. Leave it to the brotherhood of fuzz to bring the fire. I would have posted faster, but I spent the first hour running the pedal through its paces and chilling my new glassware. On top of that, he wrote me a poem! :swoon: :!!!: :yay:
