i hear you. i couldn't sleep last night, and now i have the book interview in a half-hour followed by going to pick my friend up at the airport at 4:30. i spent the last three days cleaning the house and i am fucking totally knackered. but the place looks decent. not come-over-and-fuck-me-baby good, but presentable. which is good since i spent ten years living here with someone who was at least a borderline hoarder.

leaving for winter break in a few hours. was supposed to be a leisurely drive back with my mom but a bunch of stupid family shit happened so it's going to be a bunch of people when really no one else needed to come to pick me up. and a bunch of other stupid shit that is unnecessary to explain but still succeeds at pissing me off. if all of my shit doesn't fit in the car i'm killing everything because like that was the fucking point of driving the pick me up. i know this is going to be an awful break because it's always really shitty and depressing to go back home.

also leaving a lot of loose ends untied and uncut.

Having returned to Boston, I'm sitting on my couch under a blanket wearing long pants, a sweatshirt, and a bathrobe, and I'm still cold. And it was actually on the unseasonably warm side today. California has spoiled me.

I hate people who are cruel to animals, spiteful to the needy, and coldly indifferent to the helpless.

Me too. Unfortunately, I have five and a half pages of critical analysis left to write and an obnoxious mother who constantly wants me to help her clean/decorate the house for Christmas.

my mother decided last night at midnight she would be picking me up from where i live at school at noon today. i had not packed anything nor put away anything that would piss her off such as all the empty bottles, and empty beer cans littering our floor. also i was at work, and would not be getting home till five. thank god i convinced her not too. also i pulled something in my should double stacking a keg last night. hurts to move and have yet to sleep cause i know if i fall asleep before 8 pm i will be up by midnight wide awake

side not ex girlfriend is acting weird lately, wants to hang out and stuff

Accidentally typed something for the happiness thread into this one. I think I'm here too often.

I really wish I could kick my social paranoia and crippling fear of rejection.

Drank too much last night watching the Ravens lose. Now I'm at work trying not to vomit and die.
