Re: More Important: Nirvana or Fugazi?
I like some Nirvana songs.
You dudes will want to punch me, but the MUSIC of Fugazi is ridiculously overrated. I find it...pretty dull.
I would gladly will all of Nirvana's and Fugazi's music out of existence for one more D. Boon album.

No desire for violence, but I would say that 'Argument' would be a point to contend with, should you find them dull.
And jesus I miss the Minutemen.
I listen to a lot of Mike Watt though. I really fucking love Mike Watt. He seems like the nicest human being.

I find Fugazi's recorded music to be almost as boring as Nirvana's live performances (with the exception of Unplugged.) But Fugazi's live shit is almost as good as Nirvana's recorded music. Weird.

I don't think we ever figured out what "Important" means.

Re: More Important: Nirvana or Fugazi?
I never really liked Nirvana's "pop" stuff all that much, but I totally loved their more dissonant and aggressive shit. That being said, it wouldn't have been as interesting if there wasn't that dichotomy between the two styles. I like the fact that their albums would have some really saccharine poppy shit, and then they would just throw this ugly dissonant track at you to fuck with their fans' heads. Bands that are all just aggressive, dissonant hardcore punk are much less interesting to me. As for Fugazi, I don't feel qualified to have an opinion of them, as I've only really listen to bits and pieces.

Tibet. Honestly Japan can lick my bum.

I want a giant bunny and I want a bunch of regular bunnies and they will form a hive mind and the giant bunny will be the queen bunny and they will attack in swarms.

I've never really listened either band that much, but I love this video.

I am probably going to listen to more live material from Fugazi & Bleach later.

That's all I've got to say about that.
Also, We Jam Econo is on youtube in full. Definitely a great way to kill an hour or two.

Re: More Important: Nirvana or Fugazi?
Fugazi easily.
if i were to make a comparison.
Nirvana is Zepplin, and Fugazi is The Who. Zep was more popular, but The Who had WAY more influence

I like the Who more than Zep, that's for sure.
