I have one of those model T's.... well atleast until either tonight or tomorrow. I'm trading it for an Orange AD200b. This video just reinforces my idea that a bass head can sound awesome for doom guitar! Mark (The Riffer) has 2 of those bassmans i believe, and he knows tone!

A Traynor Bass Master, Sovtek MIG50, or JTM45 clone will get you close to that sound too. My Bass Master lays that doom tone to waste, tho it's because of better FUZZZZZZ.

I just think it's funny that a classic fender amp can do that. When I think fender, I think country/blues/rockabilly/surf/etc.. I love it when people do unexpected stuff life this.

Although, if it weren't for the bassman, Marshall wouldn't even exist. So I guess this does make sense in some weird way!

Different Bassman circuit that begot Marshalls. All the same, there's something about the lower-gain pre and the real heat coming from the phase inverter clubbing the output tubes. When you can really crank that stuff, you realize that the "Fender clean" stuff misses a lot.
