i was reading that the reverberator doesn't like to be daisy chained? what exactly does that mean? i want to put one in my chain last. is that going to be a problem?

eastman guitar > xotic ep booster > rc booster > bb booster > tremolessence > mxr carbon > tech 21 boost chorus > vox wah > reverberator? > amp

"Mini-Reverberators hunger for regulated 9VDC using the standard BOSS style 2.1mm center negative plug. They need a solid 75mA of current, they don't run off batteries, they don't like to be daisy chained, but they do love to make you all reverby."

anybody?

Timed effects tend to be a little harsher on power. For example fuzzes and OD's discover new sounds when they receive less power. However timed effects tend to experience negative results, i.e. weaker repeats or less strength in the effect itsself. I have experienced a undesirable murkiness etc. Worst comes to worse, if it just ins't sounding a delightful as you would like just hook it up to it's own adapter. try it both ways, in the chain and on it's own, you may not experience a difference.

Whatcha casting? You mean a movie or tv show or something more industrial, like casting a mold kinda thing? Tell me more!

Dr.DeathDeLaVega wrote:ryan,

Right now I've only got the murdererator and the rain drop blems.. I'd be willing to move them for even less since they're the old style pcb. A very small number of people have heard a background noise with that pcb, same with the big box RRRs, that I cured with the newer boards.. so I'll discount these ones. They're the last of those boxes too.

And thanks for picking up a Trem!

Dr.DeathDeLaVega wrote:i was reading that the reverberator doesn't like to be daisy chained? what exactly does that mean?

Daisy chaining is when you share one power supply with multiple pedals. For most pedals it's no biggie but digital pedals or pedals with timing signals in them can get noisy in weird ways, sometimes. Some people are fine with daisy chaining RRRs though and it won't hurt anything, so if you don't hear any weird noise then it's a-ok!

Thanks Adam, hope you dig your new Trem!

Yep, TV Shows. I've been working with a couple that are getting a casting agency together, but it's been hard for them over the past few years, and even harder since I joined them hahaha. Our paychecks mostly come from those dime-a-dozen fall line-up shows people never really watch.
