Haha, my first and only time doing the epoxy finish was a great learning experience. Will have to give it another go one day, and hopefully not get are those dreaded bubbles.

Spray painting is all about technique. I put a glove on my left hand and hold the enclosure from underneath.

Yea, I do that too. Some times the checkout person looks at me funny when buying boxes of latex gloves. Just give them a *wink* and be on your way

the bubble thing ive watched a bunch of stuff on youtube and they mix that shit like hardcore and dont worry about the bubbles then use a lighter over the top when they rise

Yeah, you can use a torch or something. It temporarily thins the resin so the bubbles rise. Also, you could use a thin resin. That's what I've been doing lately.

Also with photo paper, it's going to make a dark edge around the paper. You'll want to seal the edge o the paper with something. White glue would be fine.

I was never able to totally prevent bubbles, though. I think the photo paper traps air or something. Maybe try wiping it down with a solvent?

I switched to a thin resin, and that cured 90% of my issues with bubbles, but the paper itself reacts with the resin. I've found wiping the "paper" down with alcohol stops that reaction.

Just take a brush and some mod podge or other white-glue sealer and brush it around the edge. It'll disappear in the resin.

I have no idea is isopropyl will smudge it... it doesn't on the paper I use, but the paper I use is waterproof...
