Those Tokai pedals are sleepers, for sure.

I've got a red one, and it rules!

Didn't know there was a purple one.

And yes, the BYOC flanger is tits. :joy:

I thought the purple one was the phaser/distortion combo? Either way those Ross pedals are pretty rockin'.

I have a Dr. Scientist Cosmichorus... in some setting it can do a light flanger type of effect... really awesome with some OD.

I really want to get my hands on one of their stereo chorus pedals from the same era. The stereo jack sticks out of the top where a knob would be, makes me lol.

Those series 1 pedals are generally well regarded. I have an Overdrive and I used to have a Metaldriver. I want one of the delays.

The flanger in the Mod Zero is pretty effing amazing. I'd never had a flanger before and I'm really digging it.

(Not sure I even wanna post this.)

I just did a quick search and this is all I came up with. Not the Flood of '53, but the "flod of 53". (If that's even the same model?)

Well, at least now we know it can do EVH. IDK?

Looks like they used to be called e wave then changed the name, on the discofreqs site there are two ebay
listings one for e wave and the other for the current company and both are priced differently!

jrmy wrote:My guitar player built me a BYOC stereo flanger to use on bass, and it is RIDONKULOUSLY awesome. However, it does seem to have some kind of weird timer / rate chirp that I can't figure out to get rid of... though I can lessen it in certain situations. Which is kinda sad, because I want this thing to have a place on my live board. Hmmm, I say, hmmmmm...

I have one and it is the best flanger i have ever used. No weird noise with it either. I fucking love it but never use flanger!

I have the FX-75B, and I love it to death, except the bypass is absolutely awful.

I 2nd the DOD FX-75-B love. It is great to record with when I am using my noise synths or drum machine in addition to guitar and bass because it has a very metallic and un-natural sound to it, but in a good way. It is currently on my live board (for bass) but is not really cutting it in a band setting, it's a little too nuanced for a heavy band. I'll probably replace the DOD and my MXR phaser with a more versatile phaser (i.e. Red Witch Moon Phase, Whetstone, or EDQ-Grand Orbiter)
Good B/S/T dealings with: univalve, DannDubbleEwe, Shish, ThePastRecedes, GiAnt_ROboT, chutneyfarmer, Muse FTW, robapov, skullservant, MaxMaps, psychedelicrelic, guitarslinger21, space6oy, theshoegazer, bongoben, osbornkt

Whoops, I just listened to that track and forget that whoever posted it cut the ending off. Oh, well. Sorry, but you get the idea. That whole album's pretty good. It's worth picking up if you like that track.
