I personally like the small foot print knobs, alot harder to knock around playing live, and i think they fit the visual motif of the pedal. But..... I am going crazy checking the mail box twice a day waiting for it!!!! :animal:

"Black Forest 4 through 15 shipped on Friday, 16-40 will ship by Tuesday. If you don't know what # yours is, check your invoice."

Look what I got today.

Image

Plugged it in for about 15 minutes before leaving town for work and first impressions are very, very good! Nice gain range, going from a clean boost to a wall of thick fuzz, vaguely reminiscent of my Algal Bloom but a bit thicker. Clarity is retained throughout the gain range and the depth and fuzz knobs create a shit ton of different tone options, may be hard to settle. Another big plus, it boosted the living hell out of my Pharaoh, LSTR, some insanely heavy results and very minimal noise.

Haven't had a chance to pair it up with much else but I'm expecting good things, seems to behave really well when used as a boost. I run a clean amp setup, so that's what I'm dealing with. Not sure how it performs with a dirty amp but I suspect it kills considering how and with whom it was road tested and developed.

Hard to capture in pics but the finish is really cool, like a copper and silver sparkle flake behind that eerie looking forest graphic.
