Not technically a pedal i guess. Built this for an installation that is an igloo made out of speakers collected from the trash (not my installation). Its going to Switzerland in a few days but i will try to get some sound clips in some sort of stereo recording device. Built it into an old computer printer switch since the theme of the installation is recycling technology etc.




Its basically a quadraphonic vibrato/panner/echo. The colored buttons select the input channel to be effected. the knobs below are the effects and the top row is an input gain for each channel. The joystick allows panning across the output channels for one, some , or all inputs.

The setup is basiacally 4 microphones inside an igloo built of speakers (with the speakers pointing in). People enter the igloo and interact with the microphones. The panning allows the speakers to be setup in "zones" so that you can move the sounds around within the space. I will probably be able to get footage after the 'performance'

ya i was super late on developing it so i don't think there will be a full out test run in montreal with an igloo. when it comes back though maybe. sort of sad i will not get to spend much time with it but i guess that's what you get for slacking off. :O <===8

I'm still torn on em.
Sure they aren't any bigger but cutting them off at an angle doesn't really save your any board space...

Nevertheless, I like how it looks.

Having a board completely made of those boxes, every other one flipped upside down with top mounted jacks on all would be cool.

I built a screenprinting jig for printing on enclosures.

How well is the ink sticking? I know the stuff usually used with clothing doesn't hold up (then again, that's cured)

I'll be printing with it for the first time Wednesday so I can't say yet. I'm going to use a different epoxy ink that should stick well and hold up to some abuse. We'll see how it turns out.
