The Street Sweeper looks badass on demos! Mine just arrived today but I haven't had a chance to plug it in yet.

And the Faye Sing of course. I somehow missed that it had exp/CV too and asked Ken to mod it for me  . He was like, umm....
Ordered that as well.

Both companies had that sweet discount going at launch, thinking BEZFX still has some left. :thumb:

Dudes. I need manual AND standard modes. Street Sweeper is manual only. By manual, I mean control of the sweep, not speed/depth. Sorry for the confusion.

Compact Faye Sing then or Empress (I think...)

Or Moog, which you mentioned. Not much out there with exp for some reason. Exp makes EVERYTHING better!

Here's where I'm at so far...
Faye Sing - $245 + need exp pedal
Foxx Phaser - $200-$250
Moog - $300 + need exp pedal
Empress - $350 + need exp pedal BUT has more options than anything ever
DIY bad stone with mods - $? + need exp pedal
Figure out how to add a manual option to my Small Stone that I'm modding already.

You could get the MXR Variphase, which is a Phase 90 in a wah enclosure, it's really orange.

To add a Manual Control to your Small Stone LFO will be doable, but it'll involve some hacking and i'm not sure it's worth the trouble...

A DIY BadStone will probably set you back $100 all in. Except the expression pedal... god damn it I don't mean to keep coming off like a sales man but I love that phaser, there was a version that came in a wah housing but I think they're kinda pricey now... You could technically take any Phaser design and tack a LFO with the option of Manual on to it, but it'll take some experimenting and not every LFO will work with every Phaser.

but phase 90s sound like poo, and it was already suggested and it doesn't have manual control of the sweep maaaaaaan.

How much work we talking here? I'm already doing the individual stage mods, univibe, depth pot, etc so...
You will be happy to know I ordered that Bad Stone pcb last night. I have pretty much all the parts, minus the ic's on stock already. Should I just build it into a wah shell? I have some here for that very thing :animal:

I know which wah shell you speak of,and I would be honored! So you gonna mod it for square wave phasing? Then we could be phaser phriends :D

I should think the board is just the right size for a Wah Shell! If only you could still get the bad ass EHX ones that had the foot switches at the top...

A few notes I need to send you about the Bad Stone PCB to ensure it works all nicely... i'll PM you later.

And for the Small Stone... more work than it's worth i'd have thought, especially now you've got a PCB designed to have a Manual control on the way.

Oh,Scruffz-I'm starting to think yr Mike Matthews' spy. In fact,a good many of my recent purchases are EHX pedals. A lot of that has to do with you posting about them all the time :p

Mine should be here in a few days (international shipping).

I'm not a phaser guy... but this is different (more like opening and closing your sound) and it's badass!!

Yeap  that's one of them. Still going to build that other thing in a shell soon too...shhhhh. If I find a way to do the squarewave mod, you betcha. That would be grrrrreat!

Wah shell is the plan for the Bad Stone then. I have to do this right. Powder coat, custom face plate, the whole shabazz.

:erm:

Sheet Guys, I've been discovered! Viva La EHX!

Nah I just think they had some bad ass effects back in the day and of course still today they knock out some funky stuff, I just find them a little more interesting than some of the usual stuff, even with there flaws.

Square Wave should be possible... have a probe around the 324 (the LFO) I can't remember how it's set up off the top of my head but one of the pins'll probably provide you with square wave.

Damn that sounds like a Snazzy Bad Stone... making me wish I could do one like that.

This isn't helping the fact that I want a dedicated phaser again and I've been considering DIYing a bad stone.

Damn you Jero, damn you.
