Me and the boys have been more into the sound sculpting thing these days. Moogerfoogers, SnazzyFX, Midfi and a bunch of other fuzz and modulation in effect.

A little dub I recorded a month ago, but just got to uploading. You can totally tell I don't play bass or drums on a regular basis, but I am sort of proud of the bass sound. I had the mic facing away from the cab with it's back about 6 inches away from the center of the speaker cone. Gave me a nice murky bass that still has some thump to it...not bad for a squier P-bass and a guitar amp IMO. not many pedals on this one, just a flying pan for the phase and an E2 for the tape echo sounds.

@mudfuzz; I really dig that track, what are you running your bass through on that?

Alright, this isn't out yet, but I thought I'd throw it up here for a I<3Fuzz kinda secret thing. I will probably post a thread for it when it's out, but for interested parties, here's a stream of our new record.

I made this today just for funzies. no fuzz, it's just clean bass but it's pretty low-fi and i played with the tape a lot, speed/pitch -wise...

I had to listen to it twice cause I thought there was a piano in the mix but then I realized its probably an acoustic mic'ed and plugged in at the same time. I like how the two acoustic tracks were EQ'ed differently, it makes the acoustic sound like two instruments. do you have any more tracks I could listen to?
