This thread will be updated frequently with the latest details on Noisemaker Effects.

You can get full details on all of the products from Noisemaker Effects at http://www.noisemakereffects.com. To contact Noisemaker Effects, you can PM us here at ILF, or use the Contact section on our website. Please don't hesitate to drop us a message if you have any sort of question. We're happy to help!

Our pedals are made from top quality components, including alpha pots, Neutrik jacks, heavy duty aluminum enclosures, and the best quality caps, resistors, transistors, and diodes we could find. All of our pedals are true bypass to save your tone, and built by hand with point to point wiring. We build to the highest boutique standards, but keep prices below those of mass produced pedals. Just because it's hand made, it doesn't mean that it shouldn't be affordable for all musicians!

The Noisemaker Effects Custom Shop is now OPEN!

The Custom Shop is a new section of http://www.noisemakereffects.com that not only lets you get a quote for a custom build that's the pedal of your dreams, but also lets you see completed custom builds.

Every single Noisemaker Effects pedal is now available in the standard aluminum enclosures, as well as painted enclosures. You can select a matching color right from each product page!

In addition to that, we're making limited edition pedals available for order, as well as one of a kind builds and designs.

As the one of a kind pedals sell, they're gone for good!

Check out the Custom Shop on http://www.noisemakereffects.com!

DAT MODE 4! If I can't trade my Pulsemonger Mk1 one soon, you may have sold me a pedal purely on those 44 seconds of playing.

So you're a double silicon clipping section guy then, are ya? ;)

The demos don't even come close to doing the Chimera justice. The thing is so versatile. I knew it would be cool when I designed it, but damn. Once it was built I was literally shocked at myself for making something so awesome. :!!!:

Mode four is a double silicon clipping section, which makes it sound huge. For big fuzz, it's one of my favorites, along with mode nine.
The demo on the site has Mode nine at lower gain, and it actually gets nearly as high gain as Mode four - with almost a muffish quality to it.

The demos that are up just show one sound from each mode - they all have a pretty big gain and tone spectrum, so there are a lot of sounds in each mode. :joy:

I love doing it, and from when I first started building I was determined to keep them affordable. I got into it after I saw just how expensive it would be to get a decent quality pedal. I couldn't imagine how much it would suck to need pedals as a working musician, so I wanted to build pedals that would be high quality, but still within reach.
I'd much rather see a kid get a nice, handwired, quality overdrive, fuzz, or distortion as their first pedal than a DS1 or whatever else Boss is trying to sell.
In the same vein, I want to see musicians getting high quality pedals without having to spend every cent they've made from playing out.

While I'd love to say that I could do $70 shipped, I unfortunately can't. The USPS is my bane in this case. I will say, however, that I only charge EXACT shipping - both in the US and internationally - on orders. No "handling" or "packaging" BS - just exact shipping cost.

I do try to have dealers stick to the $50/$70 pricing on the one and two knob pedals though, so if there's a dealer nearby you can pick them up without the shipping cost. :hello:

To be honest, I'm pretty anxious to twiddle some knobs to see what other amazing sounds I could coax out of one of these. You're not in want of a Pulsemonger by any chance... :poke:

I'd love to, but I can't do trades on my stuff. Otherwise I'll end up broke with a pile of cool pedals.

The Chimera is just so versatile. It would literally take a couple hour demo to do it justice, and even then it wouldn't cover every possible sound. Between volume, tone, and gain combinations, paired with the modes, there's just a ridiculous amount of tones that you can get from it.

Is the mode knob on the Chimera notched for each position?
