My second to last band only played sitting down. We practiced in my friends basement - the ceiling of which was so low you couldn't stand up without hitting your head. To make it worse, the light "switch" was actually a timer that would shut the lights off after something like 30 minutes. And, I once fell over while playing because one leg of my chair suddenly went through the floor.

Needless to say it was an ace practice space.
