^^ See--the thing is, I'm tryin' not to (grrmble@#$&%reezafratzin' Gas).

Srlsly--what a strange idea and thing, really--delay, filter and ring mod in one box but [mostly] completely separate in function? [Edit--ooh ring modded delay repeats--I heart ring-modded delay repeats.]

I never woulda thunk it, but it's kinda brilliantly useful in a perverse way, especially given how tiny it is.... Do like.

Kind of a cool idea, but it didn't sound to me like any part of it was really that good. The ring mod delay bits were pretty cool, but you could do the same thing with a good ring mod and delay, and have much more control over both.

Acknowledged. But...tiny.

I like it for the most part. It reminded me of my old yamaha rack delay, that I always wanted as a pedal...

I wish the pedal could always blend one of the other modes. Because the ring mod + delay is definitely cool, but I wish there was filter + ring mod and/or filter + delay too...

Ring mod delay sounds good, but this seems like it has too much going on in too small of a box with too little control to be worthwhile.

i like the delay function...it's got a useable voice that's neither too sparkly-clean or too gritty. it's not a "look at how beautiful i sound!" delay, it's a utilitarian bottle-opener of a delay that'd work anywhere.

the envelope filter seems utterly superfluous. it's yet another run-of-the-mill EF with the same kind of thin, harsh, nasal voicing as 90% of the other EFs on the market today. however, if you like that kind of EF sound this would be a selling point for you, assuming you didn't want to use the EF function with the other functions. (i'm assuming here that the EF and the delay don't interact because this isn't demonstrated in the demos)

the ring modulator, like the delay, is better than i'd expect in a tiny box, and the modulated repeats are just wonderful. SPAAAAAAAACE...IS DEEEEEEEEEP.

overall, i'm curious how much this costs...i've been wishing for another delay i could fit on my board, i don't have a RM yet, and the adorably tiny multi-function thing appeals. you just want to take it home and feed it from an eyedropper until it gets big enough to fit into a 1590BB case.

$179 apparently: http://www.mythfx.com/infinium.htm

Chhheezey website! But the point they make about it being the kind of pedal you'd take on tour is well taken...
