Well this is a funny story. I was doing the toner transfer in preparation of the etching of this enclosure when a house fly landed in the 1590B.
'I'll squash that little sucker' I thought to myself as I brought down the iron hard! So I continued ironing the enclosure, prepped it and stuck it in the FeCl. Later when I cleaned off the excess toner to reveal the etch, I noticed this (see photos below), the little sucker had left his imprint on the box -
'I must have squashed that sucker pretty hard' I thought to myself. But no, as I washed the box, I noticed a bedraggled house fly emerge from the acid bath, shake off his wings and fix me with a steely stare. He seemed bigger, muscles more toned. He looked me straight in my compound eye and said
'fuck you frequencycentral!' as he flew off into the kitchen and landed on my dinner. To survive all that, he must have been a superfly....
