Re: 919 Pricing/Availability???
What does the model # 919 imply for features over the 616? I don't keep up with this kind of stuff, but I do like analog delays!

It's (theoretically) packed with features for an analog delay. Here's the specs that were posted right around NAMM, who knows what it will entail when/if it arrives. On paper, it looks to be really bad ass, except for that 500mA requirement, hopefully that's on the high side of what it actually needs.
Features:
• 40 millisecond to 1.00 second BBD Delay using NOS BBDs.
• Largest dynamic range possible from a BBD Delay using -15V BBD ICs.
• Tap Tempo footswitch control of echo delay time with tempo rate LED.
• Knob control of echo delay time.
• Soft takeover between tap tempo and knob control. Tap the footswitch, its delay time is in control. Move the knob, the knob delay time is in control. Move freely between the two controls.
• True Bypass, Active Bypass and Active “Trail” Bypass, letting you hear the echo trail after switching to bypass mode.
• Mix from 100% Dry, 50/50 Mix to 100% Wet.
• Tone Equalization control.
• Specially tuned flat feedback response to below 100 Hz.
• Excess Feedback includes a limiter in the feedback loop for infinite sustain echo without annoying feedback howl.
• The combination of feedback limiter, tilt tone filter and modulation options make this a wild synthesized tone generator. No input is necessary except a dummy jack to activate the power circuit.
• LFO Speed and Modulation Depth controls and modulation enable switch.
• Wide range of LFO modulation shapes: sine, square, sample & hold and diffusion
• Diffusion is an exclusive mode never before heard from any BBD delay, spreading the sound into a “cloud-like” atmosphere.
• Powered by +9.6 V 500 mA or greater power supply.

Re: 919 Pricing/Availability???
Sounds like an awesome pedal. Especially the feedback limiter; that's my one gripe with my current analog delay, other than that it is a very short delay time. (440ms) My analog delay feeds back and goes up to the howl anywhere past about 1 o'clock on the repeats knob, which to me just feels like most of the range of that control is unusable and they could've matched the pot value better.
They have one of the "dark" 616's at the shop in Milwaukee where I buy my pedals. I should check it out next time I'm in there.

the dark's are very cool, but i'm waiting on the 919, if it ever truly becomes mass produced. at $300 (assuming) it packs a ton of usable features at a reasonable price. plus, i've been hoping this fucker gets made ever since i joined ILF

Still doubt it's real

• Diffusion is an exclusive mode never before heard from any BBD delay, spreading the sound into a “cloud-like” atmosphere.
Hmm, thats what I thought delays did already

If it gets released and has those features at $300 I'm buying one so hard.

The "dark" model is pretty cool, a tone knob would be so much cooler though. I have an E600D that I love, not many features but it has expression and it sounds the shit! It'd be nice to brighten it up here and there but oh well...
Between the 919 and the Timeline, I need to get to saving some $$ for sure. I don't know, might just bail on the 919 and go with the Timeline/E600 combo, that's easy to say now though while the 919 is unavailable. Have a feeling I'll cave fast when/if it comes out.

I'm confused about the whole knob to tap smooth takeover....don't most pedals do this?

I've lost all hope. Got a Timeline and sticking with the E600s.
